The GrassCutters is a truly sustainable organic lawn care service. All of our mowers and hand tools are charged by renewable energy captured by solar panels on our trucks and trailers. Any emissions associated with powering our biodiesel equipment or driving our trucks are offset with verified vehicle emissions offsets purchased from Planetair.

The GrassCutters have been known to use a good old fashioned push mower for those hard to reach areas, like walkways and around shrubs. And we only offer children and pet friendly organic fertilizers, pest controls, and weeding options to protect our water supply. We do all of these things because we believe that being environmentally friendly should begin with your front lawn. Clean air lawn care is here now!
No Sunshine? No Problem!
The GrassCutters portable solar generators store enough energy to keep our mowers and trimmers going for 2 weeks without any sun. So there’s no need to worry about whether or not we can perform the service on your lawn. And in the event that we should run out of power, which is highly unlikely, every truck is equipped with reel push mowers that are powered by our GrassMasters (professionally trained staff).

we offset our emissions
We run our larger mowers on locally produced biofuels. All of our greenhouse gas emissions are offset by wind power and carbon offsets purchased from Planetair to ensure our entire operation is carbon-neutral.
